Homework for the Week of Nov. 18
*** Because I have been sick for over a week on top of being away from the classroom, this week's videos will not be completed until later in the week than usual. My videos will be uploaded tomorrow evening, and posted to the homework on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I have moved some of the other activities around to accomodate this change. Thank you for being patient during this temporary change! ***
Here is the homework for the week of November 18. For this week, have your child choose one or two games from the "Games Review" box each day. These are all the games I have assigned to all the groups so far - play your favorites, or find new ones from other groups! PARENTS: Please fill out the short questionnaire at the end of each week's homework to let me know how your child did this week! This is how I will know that your child completed the homework.
When you click on your group's link, you will see a screen similar to this:
The activities in the first column (labeled "Every Day!") are to be completed every day. The repetition of these activities is important, especially for those students who do not yet recognize the letters or sounds. After your child completes the "Every Day!" activities, move on to the activities under the current day. There will almost always be at least one video and at least one game to play - most days there will be several activities, as shown here. The last activity each Friday is the Parent Questionnaire - please don't forget to fill this out - this is how I know that your child completed the homework for this week.
If you have any problems or questions about completing the homework, please give me a call or send me an email (preferred). Have a great week!
