This week we read several of Mrs. K.'s favorite books. I love Froggy and his crazy antics! These are the books we read this week:
But there are many more Froggy books - you'll want to look for them the next time you go to the Public Library! That Froggy sure does some funny stuff! After we read all the books (except for the Halloween one, that was our treat!), we recalled the details from each story and compared them to each other. We listed the Title, Characters, Beginning, Middle, and End of each story, and discussed how the stories were similar and different.

In Math, we worked on identifying the number of dots on a dice without counting (sorry, no picture!), and writing the number 3 (again, no pictures, but your child should have brought home a worksheet).

On Tuesday we will have an all-school assembly to celebrate those students who met their family reading goal for September - 30 books. Those students will get to stand in front of the rest of the students and receive a special certificate. One student from each class will even win a t-shirt!
We will be learning about the
Letter Pp, the
Number 4, and the
Popcorn Word and. We will be reading about and studying
sunflowers.
