Literacy Stations for the Week of Feb. 6
Students roll a letter dice and graph that letter. Most of them keep rolling till they fill up the whole page - good handwriting practice!
Students use the letter blocks to complete the word, then write it on the recording sheet.
Students put together word puzzles
Students listen for the beginning sound of each word. If it matches the letter at the top of the card, they put a clip on it. Then they color that picture on the recording sheet.
Students read books at their level (right now these are mostly "label" books and high-frequency word books).
Students find a picture and matching word, then write the word on the recording sheet.
